The first time ...

Last night was one of the most wonderful nights in my life, I went to church with my girlfriend and the kids, her youngest 2 year old Louise Marie and her eldest 12 year old Rad Aaron, after church, we went to buy something at the department store, things needed for Aaron's school requirements. Little girl was cuddled by her mom while me and Aaron went ahead, reaching the department store , we checked on the shoe section for kids first, Precie checked out shoes for Aaron , I saw a little girl at the bench , same age as Louise, I was pretty fascinated with the little girl, I picked her up, and she agreed to be taken up to my arms, she quickly grabbed my pair of glasses, I was able to take it away from her before she could do some damage, all of a sudden, while we were playing , she bit my nose ...not that hard but it surely was a bite! I just laughed, kids ... I usually know they are still adjusting to having their first sets of teeth.
During that time, Louise Marie wouldn't leave her mother's side , always would want to be carried, would not even go with Aaron, right after we choose plastics for Aaron's notebooks, Precie had to buy something at the department store while I go ahead with the kids and move up to the foodcourt to prepare for dinner, while we were in the FoodCourt, we found a place to sit and placed our things, Aaron wanted to play but he doesn't want to take Louise along with him, so Louise was with me for that time, luckily and to my surprise, she never resented the idea of being with me, usually she doesn't go near me when I am around , might be because I'm new to her sight or she doesn't see me that often. I cuddled her up to my arms and had her sit on the table , letting her play with my phone , she kept on mummbling "baby" while staring at my phone ... it was her picture that I placed on my phone as a wallpaper, then I placed her down and we went for a walk up to the game zone, we went to the game zone, she never asked to be carried in my arms , instead, she held my hand and just walked , she kept talking , I couldn't hear what she meant but I definitely knew she meant something, we were not able to spot Aaron at the game zone , so we went back to our seats, she was pointing to the escalator and wants to ride on it. But I had her sit on the table again, and she kept on doing "baby talk" I couldn't understand, but to me it meant something , more than a baby talk, its the first time that we both spent time with each other. A few moments later, Precie came up from the department store and we had to transfer seats for dinner, they went ahead and order food at the counter while I was watching our things, after we transferred, I went to the counter to check on them, Louise wants to drink water, to my surprise again, she readily extended her arms , wanting me to carry her to the table that we choose, and I gave her a bottle of water to drink.
To other's this may not mean much , but that was definitely one of the best nights that I ever had, spending time with the kids, to my little baby girl, you're a sweet and very adorable angel baby, I know you would grow up to be as strong and as a great person just like your mom and your brother. I love you baby Louise, I love you baby ... and to Aaron, a friend, a good kid ... I'm proud of you.
